The kindreds of Arizona and The Asatru Alliance Inc. Proudly announce plans for AlThing 40. This historic gathering of Odinn's Nation is open to members and supporters of the Asatru Alliance. Come join us in celebrating the Anniversary of the Asatru Alliance.

WHEN:

From September/Harvest 30 through October/Hunting 4 2270 Runic Era.

WHERE: Note - LOCATION CHANGE!!

The location is the R-C Boy Scout Camp, the location is Highway 260 mile post 271.5. The physical address is: 19887 East AZ Hwy 260, Payson, AZ 85541. This is 2 miles West of the Sharp Creek Campground which was our original site for AlThing. The driveway is on the south side of the road and there is no sign. We will have a A type sign next to the driveway which will say” R-C Camp”. This is a 65 mile an hour zone, so when you reach the 271 mile marker you better slow down and be vigilant for the driveway. If you miss it, there is a turn around shortly past it.

We have rented 3 bunkhouses which each can accommodate 16 people. Many of us will have cabins in Christopher Creek area, some will have campers in the parking lot, and tents are allowed as well. There should be plenty of bunks not in use, so it won’t be crowded. The cabins have covered porches with chairs in the front. You have to provide your own bedding, mattresses provided, but bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, or sheets and covers, if you have folding chairs, you may wish to bring them. There is electricity in the cabins.
The bathrooms are right next to the cabins and that includes showers. They also have a free ice machine. There is some limited parking right next to the cabins. The picnic tables and table shelters are sparse, but the ranger said we could borrow some tables if the need arises. We can cook our own food on site, but we’ll have to pick a suitable spot for the kitchen.
The ranger will be on site, but we will be the only group at the facility. This is a Boy Scout camp, so alcohol is not allowed. However, we will have to be careful and wise for drinking out in the open. Mead for rituals will be in apple juice containers, beer and such should be consumed in the cabins out of sight. Careful disposal of cans and bottles will be advised.
